This unit has a first stage standard paper pre-filter that captures large particles, and a second-stage primary HEPA filter rated to capture 99.97% of remaining particles down to 0.3 microns. An activated carbon filter (sold separately) for smoke, or a dispersed oil particulate (DOP) filter (sold separately) for oil particulates, may be used in addition to the first stage pre-filter to extend the life of the HEPA filter. The 8" air outlet can be used with Dri-Eaz rigid engineered ducting (sold separately) for negative pressure applications.
